1. Our Commitment to Safety

JIIPL is dedicated to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all our employees, subcontractors, and the general public. We operate with a "Safety First" mindset, believing that all accidents are preventable. Our goal is to achieve Zero Harm across all our infrastructure sites, including road networks, bridges, and aviation projects.

2. Health & Safety Protocols

To ensure the well-being of our workforce, we strictly adhere to rigorous safety standards:

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Mandatory use of helmets, safety vests, high-visibility clothing, safety boots, and other site-specific gear for every individual entering a construction zone.
  • Site Safety Inductions: Comprehensive safety training and briefing for all new staff and visitors before they step onto the field.
  • Regular Audits: Periodic internal and external safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions immediately.
  • Emergency Response: Established protocols for medical emergencies, fire hazards, and evacuation procedures at all project sites.

3. Regulatory Compliance

We operate in strict compliance with all applicable local, state, and national regulations, including:

  • The Building and Other Construction Workers (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act, 1996.
  • Applicable Environmental Protection Acts and Pollution Control Board norms.
  • Indian Road Congress (IRC) safety guidelines for highway construction zones.
  • Labor laws regarding working hours, wages, and welfare facilities.

4. Environmental Responsibility

As part of our commitment to sustainability, we integrate environmental compliance into our safety framework:

  • Dust Control: Regular sprinkling of water on construction sites to minimize air pollution.
  • Waste Management: Proper segregation and disposal of construction and demolition waste.
  • Noise Regulation: Adhering to permissible noise levels, especially when working near residential areas.

5. Reporting Hazards

Safety is a collective responsibility. We encourage all employees, partners, and the public to report any unsafe conditions or practices observed at our sites immediately. We maintain a non-punitive reporting culture to ensure transparency and continuous improvement.
